You said that you couldn't understand the teacher when she talked.Uh.It doesn't matter if you don't understand the words.Why don't you borrow teachers'tapes.I think it can help a lot.You can also watch English movies.To begin with,you can watch the actors say the words,then,you can only listen to the voiceand think what it means.It's very useful.

And another suggestion is that you can join an English club at school.It can improve your speaking skills,and you can have conversations with other people in the club.
